How to Cook Our Rice in an Instant Pot or Rice-Cooker

The Instant Pot and Rice Cooker are a great time saver, and our blends cook beautifully in them! Here are the cook times and liquid amounts for our blends:

Pressure-cook the rice mixture:

Combine Rice and liquid in an Instant Pot. Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and start the pressure cooker on high and cook for the time below.

Once completed, turn the cooker off and carefully quick-release the remaining pressure.

*For softer blend use 1 1/4 liquid.

Instant Pot

Jasmine Thai Trio:

1 cup water or stock/broth
1 cup rice blend
Set to pressure cook for 10 minutes

Wild Rice Blend:

1 cup water or stock/broth
1 cup wild rice blend
Set to pressure cook for 15 mins 

Ancient Fields Blend:

1 cup water or stock/broth
1 cup ancient fields blend
Set to pressure cook for 10 minutes


Prairie Blend

1 cup water or stock/broth
1 cup prairie blend
Set to pressure cook for 10 minutes

Rice Cooker

1 cup rinsed rice 
1 1/2 cups of water or stock
1 Tbsp oil or butter
Set Rice Cooker to White Rice mode 

Wild Rice Blend  

1 cup rinsed rice 
1 3/4 cups of water or stock
1 Tbsp oil or butter
Set Rice Cooker to White Rice mode 

Ancient Field Blend 

1 cup rinsed rice 
2 cups of water or stock
1 Tbsp oil or butter
Set Rice Cooker to White Rice mode 

Prairie Blend 

1 cup rinsed rice 
2 cups of water or stock
1 Tbsp oil or butter
Set Rice Cooker to White Rice mode
